Courtney is the founder and sole artist creating each find the light. product by hand.  By day she is a pediatric occupational therapist working with children at a hospital in St. Louis.  By night and weekend, she creates find the light. products in order to spread messages that may bring hope.

"I often feel life is a tug of war between hope and despair.  Filled with moments of deep love and indescribable beauty in experiences, relationships, and even permeated within the profound longings within us.  At the same time, tragic loss, sadness, and terrible struggles are experienced as well.  I think both are just what life bring and what usually occur in a life deeply and well lived.  Others feel this too.  I see this struggle between hope and tragedy in my loved ones, in my patients.  Through it all, the one belief that always pervades is that the light will always outshine the darkness.  Hope is stronger than fear.  Struggles will end but love endures.  And if you look, you can even find the light within the darkness.  There is purpose in both.  The quotes attached to each product helped remind me of this in one way or another and hopefully they remind you too."
